FNC: Sustainable Finance, Simplified

Project Focus & Key Features
This project tackled issues from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically climate action, responsible consumption, and economic growth. I designed an app that empowers users to make sustainable banking choices through green finance. Key features include a one-swipe provider switch, a green investment news feed, and a donation scheme for eco-friendly initiatives. The app also allows users to quickly connect with others who bank with the same provider via a joint account feature. In addition to tracking sustainability, the app offers helpful information on savings and interest rates, supporting users in navigating the cost of living. A reward system lets users grow their own "money tree" as they make sustainable choices, providing visual incentives to keep them engaged.

Results & Tools Used
User testing of the prototype revealed faster task completion rates and improved discoverability compared to the original site, proving the effectiveness of the design. Despite limitations with Framer’s capabilities, I enjoyed crafting high-fidelity prototypes and developing promotional content. The app was created solo in just over six weeks, using Figma, Framer, and Adobe Creative Suite. This project reinforced my passion for app design and allowed me to refine my skills in UI design, user testing, and developing an engaging, user-friendly experience.
